Hotel Dei Barbieri - Rome

The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately, the location felt a bit unsafe with overflowing garbage outside the hotel. Our room lacked basic drawer space, forcing us to leave everything on display. The communal areas were not well maintained, with dirty dishes left unattended for too long.

Beds were not very comfortable.

It was spotlessly clean with very efficient staff on the reception desk. The location was perfect for destinations we were going to. Area around had lots of choice for meals and drinks, restaurants and cafes.

The rooms are unique and beautifully modern, nestled within a historic structure, complete with stunning frescoes on the ceiling. I especially appreciated the fantastic location, just a short walk from the Pantheon and other iconic sites. The staff members were incredibly kind and efficient, especially when my husband needed a doctor during our stay. It's surrounded by many charming restaurants and cafés, perfect for evening meals after a day of exploring.

Great and awesome location relatively close to a large sunny square. New-fashioned and cheap units available with a garden, a mini bar, as example.

My stay here was excellent. This trendy boutique hotel had elegant atmosphere. Everything was good, nonetheless a few employees were not so friendly. I took a guest room with 1 very large emperor size bed, the ceiling view and 2 bathrooms. The wine bar was a plus...

Couldn't recommend more for a flying visit

Spacious room, convenient location, perfect for quick exploration as it is just a short walk from major attractions like the Pantheon, and the in-room breakfast option was a good start to the day.

The location is fantastic, situated near major attractions. The noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our sleep.

I stayed in a Superior Double Room for 4 nights, and it was beautiful! The decor was modern with amazing frescoes on the ceiling. The size was spacious enough, though I could've used more seating. Bathroom was sleek but lacked counter space. Staff was super nice, and I loved how central the location was. Walking to the Pantheon was easy. Just wish the air conditioning had been a bit more reliable.

great stay but room could improve

The warmth and friendliness of the staff. We were pleased with our upgraded superior double room, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The location was fantastic for walking to local attractions, cafes, and enjoying a lovely city view.

The shower pressure was sometimes inconsistent.

Charming stay in a historic spot

Loved the cozy vibe and helpful staff! Flavio were really good with tips about the city. The room was small but had a nice view through a skylight. The breakfast in-room option was a nice treat. Just wished the bathroom could've been a tad cleaner.

The barbieri is in a fantastic spot, just a short stroll from the jewish quarter and trastevere. I loved the beautiful architecture with high ceilings and the renovated bathroom. The connecting room suite was perfect for us.

This hotel is really nice & unique! The building is beautifull and it feels so roman inside. The staff were super nice, and room was comfy and great. Location's ideal with awsome restaurants just a few mins away.

The only downside was the breakfast situation, it was served in room but no real table to eat at, a bit tricky. The noise from the street was kinda loud sometimes.

Super friendly staff 😄. Location is prime, walking distance to attractions and great restaurants nearby. The old palace vibe adds unique charm! Enjoyed clean and beautifully decorated suites.

It was a nice choice for spending a night in Rome with a great value-to-price ratio. The hotel has original fresco ceilings that added unique charm to my stay. Make sure to check out nearby Roscioli's for delicious food options.
